Tommy Gunn 2lbs 8oz! 10 years ago!

Today my baby boy turns 10 he is my miracle baby! He was born 3 months and 3 days early even though he was 3 months early he was a big boy weighing in at 2lbs 8 oz and 14 inches long. It was a night mare I didnt know if I would ever bring my baby boy home. He had to hit a lot of mile stones to come home and he ended up with a bloated gastro something something. Like I said its been 10 years. He came out with and they had to resuscitate him and he started to breath and they handed him to me and I looked at him that is when I looked into his eyes which didnt last very long because it is too stimulating for premies to look into there eyes. All of the sudden he just stopped breathing and I told them something is wrong they looked at him, grabbed him away and I didnt see him till the next morning. When I looked at him right after he was born he still looked like a fetus, after the bloated gastro thingy he ended up with a hernia and it cause a lot of breathing difficulties but they couldn't do the surgery because he was still so small and frail, and had tubes coming from every every vein and one down his throat and nose.



Finally they started talking about him going home we had to eat 2 full oz. he got his hernia fixed, and I had to take a cpr class, a class on hour to take care of his monitor, and finally a class on his oxygen he came home on. He came home May 23, 1999 just over 2 mths of miles stones. And now today he is 10 years old. His definitly a miracle. THANK YOU LORD! for my gift from You!

Talent Show!

Well my beautiful girls were in the talent show tonight, they both sang a song and I am so very proud of them Dani got 2nd in her age division and Tyler got 1st. Tyler worked very hard for hers, her song was a lot harder and Dani decided they day before yesterday to be in it and she sang "Popcorn popping on the apricot tree" she was so cute she was doing all the had movement with her little shy attitude lol! I love being a mommy!

Still havent heard anything yet!

Still waiting for word at the prison! He has an appointment on Wend. for physical! I wish they would quit dragging there feet I want to get on with my life which ever direction it is gonna go!

What a day!

Waiting for the bank to send us an email for a week and a half now and still waiting for them as of today we keep calling and telling them the house we are gonna buy is gonna get sold out from under us if they dont hurry but they still havent. So we been paying some medical bills off today and making arrangement to go to lake but nothing is working out and David is still waiting to hear from DOC and they are dragging there feet I just want to go to sleep and wake up when it is all over! Uggg!!!!

A job for me

Well I called finally to ask if there are any positions open for the daycares in Safford hopefully I can get a job I would love to work with kids

Danged if we do danged if we dont!

David went to fill out the paper work to volunteer layoff and get the severance package and they that will leave us with out a paycheck till March 7 th. If he continues working we will still get a pay check but we wont get the severence pay and if David doesnt have a job by then we need that severence! Uggg! So we are danged if we do danged if we dont. Oh well Tyler and Mason come home today and I just look forward to that. We miss them when they are gone like that.

Havent heard anything!

As of today more people got laid off! Its so sad watching how sad everyone looks! But you know me I am always smiling cant help it, its just always there. lol So we havent heard anything from the prison yet but it has only been 2 days. We cleaned out the backyard today we threw away junk and broken toys and took it to the dump. Tomorrow will be the garage! YAY! But I would rather do it now then wait till last minute so all we have to do is take stuff we want and need not stuff we are unsure of! I am a horter :) But right now I am in the mood to just throw away so I better do it now before my horter stage comes back! lol

Jobs

Well David got laid off today and my dad got laid off yesterday but my dad is happy he gets his retirement so he is doing cartwheels. David and I were expecting it so we look forward to spending time together till he can get on for the prison as a DOC officer. He had an interveiw yesterday so they told him we just have to wait for his back ground results and he took a test to see how long it will be before he goes back to COTA. If he passes then he will only have to go back for 2 weeks but WE WILL HAVE A JOB. I do in home daycare and I love it so as soon as we find out where we will be living I will be looking for kids to watch.

Learning how to blog!

This is my first time since the last time I blogged that I have figured out how to blog so dont laugh! Myspace is much easier! But I am getting the hang of it. For those of you that arent around please pray for our Country in these hard times. It looks as if our Husbands, fathers, brother in law, uncles, grandparents, moms, aunts, cousins, and friends may not have a job or could be losing there job.
